Hannes Hamburg

Since 1995, Hannes has consulted more than one hundred private and public sector organizations, and has organized media trainings and conferences. He has worked as a consultant at communication companies such as Kubits & Hamburg, and Corpore, and as a Strategic PR lecturer. In addition, Hannes was the cofounder of the media monitoring and media analysis company Media Monitoring LLC (currently ETA Monitoring).

Hannes obtained a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from the Tartu University Social Sciences Department and has a Master's Degree in Cultural Theory from Tallinn University.

Kristi Jõesaar

Kristi Jõesaar

Kristi has been working in the field of communication since 2001. From 2001 to 2004 Kristi worked in the KPMS public relations company where she managed information projects concerning EU accession. From 2004 she worked in the Ministry of Finance as a PR adviser and from 2007 to 2011 as a PR manager of the same Ministry. In addition, as a member of the Team Europe non-profit association Kristi has carried out several information projects aimed at young people and she has also been a member of the national crisis communication team.

Kristi graduated from Tallinn University with a major in Advertising and Media and defended her master’s degree in the Institute of Journalism and Communication at the University of Tartu.

Jan Jõgis-Laats

Jan Jõgis-Laats

Jan has an experience in the communication sector since 1998, when he started as a news reporter in the news agency Baltic News Service, the biggest independent news agency in the Baltic states. During the course of next five years Jan worked with the BNS as a reporter and an editor at the domestic and economic news desks. From April 2007 until May 2011 Jan held the position of editor-in-charge of domestic news desk in the second biggest quality daily in Estonia, Eesti Päevaleht. The year prior to joining Hamburg & Partners' team saw Jan acting as the managing editor and deputy editor-in-chief of Eesti Päevaleht newspaper.

Jan obtained his BA degree in Political Science at the University of Tartu in Estonia. He graduated with Master of Arts degree in Media and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill).

Jekaterina Jõgis-Laats

Jekaterina Jõgis-Laats

Jekaterina has been working in the field of communication since 1999. Her first two years were spent working as a freelance reporter at the daily Russian language newspaper Molodjozh Estonii and in 2002 Jekaterina became an editor in the same paper. From 2006 until 2009, she worked for the leading Russian language weekly newspaper Den za Dnjom as a business-editor. In 2008 she also started to make her own business series for Estonian TV. Jekaterina has won a journalism award organized by Estonian Journalists Association three years in a row.

Jekaterina studied journalism and translation at Tallinn University.

Teele Koppel

Teele Koppel

Teele's responsibilities within the team include assisting with consulting projects. Previously, she has worked as an intern in a non-profit organisation Fairfood International in Amsterdam.

Teele graduated from The Hague University in the Netherlands with a major in International Communication Management.

Kertu-Kätlin Käis

Kertu-Kätlin Käis

Kertu-Kätlin's responsibilities within the team include social media projects and assisting with consulting projects. Earlier she has worked as a media specialist in the Tartu University Hospital Children's Foundation and has been involved in projects relating to marketing communication and event marketing within the entertainment industry.

Kertu-Kätlin graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in journalism and communication. She has taken additional training in the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences in the field of business and human resources management and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in communication management from the University of Tartu.

Marko Paloveer

Marko Paloveer

Marko started working in the media in 2004 when, during his studies, he tried his hand as a reporter for news agencies like ERR, Kanal 2 and Võrumaa Teataja. In 2006 he joined Estonia's largest daily newspaper, Postimees, as a sports reporter. Marko has also worked as a producer and content editor on a number of TV series. Before joining the Hamburg team, he spent four years as the editor-in-chief at TV3.

Marko has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in social science and journalism from the University of Tartu. He is also a graduate of the Danish School of Media and Journalism, where he focused on international television.

Hanna-Liisa Ruul

Hanna-Liisa Ruul

Hanna-Liisa manages projects and consults international projects at the bureau. She has worked as a corporate client manager in Freewill OÜ and participated in carrying out the Let’s Do It – My Estonia project.

Hanna-Liisa graduated from the Estonian Business School with a major in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration. She is currently acquiring her master’s degree in Communication Management from Tallinn University.

Annika Vilu

Annika Vilu

Annika has been working in the field of communication since 2004, she has experience both in private and public sector. From 2004 until 2010 Annika worked in the Public Relations department at the Ministry of Finance, where her responsibilities as a councilor also included external aid and tax issues communications; and she took part of different international workshops. In years 2010-2014 Annika was the head of Public Relations at the Selver chain, being responsible for strategic communication and media relations as well as social media. In addition, she has been engaged in internal communication and CSR projects, organized different events and been a member of the state's crisis communication team.

Annika graduated from EBS (Estonian Business School) with major in International Business Administration.
